If you aren't familiar with the Diablo Universe, it all takes place in a nice peaceful world called Sanctuary. At the time of this writing, you can find this particular wallpaper on the Diablo 3 Media page, in the Wallpapers section, at the top of the center column.

When “Wrath of the Lich King” was released for World of Warcraft, we came just a little bit closer to getting our mits on Diablo 3, although it’s still going to be a little while.

You see, Blizzard had announced that they were going to finish Wrath of the Lich King, then they would finish up StarCraft 2, and then they would go get some coffee. Once they finish their coffee, and maybe a well deserved pastry or two, they would come back and knock out Diablo 3.

Now, I’ve only seen estimates based on various retailer’s guesses about release dates, I haven’t seen any agreed upon dates yet. So it could still be a really long time.
